I am back in Austin to visit my sister & nephew, Roman. It reminds me of the last time I was here & took these portraits. I should’ve posted these before. He is such a precious baby. He is now about 3 months old, & when I took the pictures below, he was 9 weeks.

This is one of the most fun engagement sessions I’ve done. We went down to Galveston, on the beach at the Seawall. The weather was perfect & the water was beautiful. Melissa & Brian were naturals in front of the lens. They are such a fun couple & you can see the love between them in their images. They were set up by friends & it worked out… with flying colors! I can’t wait to shoot their wedding this October.
Meet the new Toungate family. I recently had the pleasure of photographing Chad & Christine’s wedding. So I was very excited when they contacted me to do their family portrait session. Here they are with their lovely daughters!
I have a new favorite band. I was recently introduced to Mothers Anthem by my dear friend Missy. We went to see their show at a local music venue. I instantly feel in love with their music, live show, everything. They have this aura about them that I can’t really put into words. True musicians & true performers to the core. My first passion is music, & these guys are so talented. I had the pleasure of meeting them after the show. Then again at another show last week. They let me snap a few shots during their live performance, which was the first time I have ever done photos like this, so it was semi-experimental. These guys are not only amazing at what they do, but they are also very friendly guys & truly appreciate the support they get at their shows. I highly recommend going to their next performance. They are based in Austin, but travel all over, including Houston. Thanks to all the guys, Kirk, Julian, Zak, Drew, & Jono, for being so awesome & creating great music for us to listen to.
