Feel free to bring your own jewelry or anything else you’d like to incorporate, but KBP will provide the mermaid tail, top, crown options, and some extra mermaid sparkle for your magical session.

Mermaid portraits are all about capturing the magic of your child's imagination. I have many years of experience with coaxing natural poses and expressions from little ones. You can help your child prepare by telling them we are taking photos but that it will be a very fun time to play, so they don’t feel pressure to perform in a certain way.

Choosing the right location and time of day is key to capturing magical mermaid images. I will help choose a location in Galveston, Texas that will be the least busy so we don’t have onlookers or people in the background. Taking photos during golden hour, especially at the beach is very important. We will set our session start time based on sunset for the date of our portrait session in Galveston.
