HAIDYN | AUSTIN SENIOR PORTRAIT PHOTOGRAPHER

Haidyn! First of all, let me start by saying I am obsessed with the name Haidyn for a girl. Absolutely love it. This young lady was as kind and enjoyable as she is beautiful. Haidyn, her Mom and I toured campus to get some shots with all of the gorgeous architecture, and then ended up in a field at an abandoned church. It didn’t look like much to the naked eye, but I knew come sunset, it would be magical. Thank goodness my clients trusted me!

Miss Haidyn had all the right wardrobe choices and her hair and makeup were perfection for photos. It also helped that she is super photogenic. I don’t think I took a single “bad” photo of her.

Haidyn is graduating from Hendrickson High School this Spring, and plans to go into nursing, hopefully something to do with babies. So sweet. Haidyn said she really loves school and is sad to see it come to an end… but if she goes into nursing I’m sure there will be a lot more school in her near future. She’s graduating after doing 4 years of cheer, and she also said that she can’t live without her family and dogs.

Best of luck in the future Haidyn! I know you’ll do great things.

BOY MOM | AUSTIN FAMILY PHOTOGRAPHER

Boys. They are the sweetest. This beautiful Mama and Dad have 3 of the most precious boys. And after a few months of illness, weather and just LIFE in general causing postponements, we were still able to grab some beautiful images in the wildflowers before they were gone. Here are a few favorites from this adorable session full of little boy humor, a few tears and a lot of snuggles.

JENNY & CHRIS #FOREVERJONESIN | AUSTIN ENGAGEMENT PHOTOGRAPHER

Beautiful Jenny and Chris. To have the privilege of capturing their engagement session is beyond words. What an honor. I’ve known Jenny for almost 10 years. We served in ministry together for a long time, and I love her heart. And Chris… He just loves her so well. I cannot wait to see the things they do for the Kingdom together. They are the type of couple that people aspire to be, and the kind of individuals that people look up to and love to call their friend. I also had the honor of photographing their wedding in May, and I can’t wait to share some of the gorgeous moments from that day.

I don’t always have the words, so I thought it appropriate to steal a few from Chris himself about the day we spent shooing these images. “The process of taking our engagement pictures, and now getting to go through them, makes me more and more excited to marry this beautiful girl. There is so much beauty in her that no picture could capture, but I will forever look back on these moments and remember. The laughing, the preparation, the prayer, the waiting, and the undefiled joy that make up this season are more precious than anything. There will be no greater joy for me than to be your husband, Jenny. I love you 📷: @kimberlybrookephoto (you are awesome, thank you!!)”

OK, now I’m crying. Here are just a few favorites from this heartfelt session.

JOEL AND NEER | AUSTIN PROPOSAL PHOTOGRAPHER

Joel and Neer. Literally the sweetest couple. When Joel contacted me about capturing his surprise proposal to Neer in December, I instantly knew I had to make it work. This was my last session before the Holidays. What a way to end the Season! We met at the Oasis on Lake travis and it was a perfect view from the highest point in the restaurant and bar area. After he popped the question, accompanied by their adorable dog, she of course said YES! Neer was SO surprised. All of their friends popped out to congratulate them and she was even more surprised.

I let them all celebrate, show them all her new bling, and then we headed to the most beautiful spot, the glass lookout point, for some newly engaged couple’s portraits. Pup in tow.

It was such a great day. If I could capture a proposal every day, I would do it. It’s so fun to capture the surprise, joy, love and all of the other emotions. Here are just a few favorites from their Austin Proposal at the Oasis. Enjoy!

BABY BANKS | AUSTIN NEWBORN PHOTOGRAPHY

This sweet little one came just before Christmas, and what a gift! Caitlyn and Dustin received their newborn portrait session as a gift from their generous family. Banks Reese is the sweetest little girl and is beyond loved by her Mom and Dad. Here are a few portraits from our time together. Enjoy.
